  CABINET

Moulded ABS enclosure suitable for flush panel mounting , with plug in type rack, incorporating four printed circuit boards namely,

1) Controller module
2) SMPS card
3) LED display card
4) DIP switch selector card

These cards are housed in the rack which slides in the black ABS moulded casing of 144mm x 144mm overall dimensions as per DIN 43700 standard .It is fixed and secured to the position by rear screws. The depth of the enclosure is reduced to 150mm only. The high grade ABS body provides sleek and sturdy cabinet with electrical insulation. The flush mounting cabinet requires panel cutout of 138mm x 138mm. The terminals for external connections are provided at rear.

  DISPLAY

Backlighted with four nos. red superbright light emitting diodes (LEDs). per window. Photocomposed transparent legend film is provided, sandwiched between transparent and transluscent red acrylics. It is accessible from front. Negative films also can be supplied to distinguish between trip and non trip faults which provide clear letters on black background and commonly used for Trip alarm fault. All the LEDs are driven through series limiting resistor from internal 12V DC supply.

Model ANA-2101 is the compact microprocessor based annunciator available for 4 to 12 points requirement. The display up to 8pts is supplied with individual windows each of 55mm(W) x 30mm(H). For 9 to 12pts, it is only a common display with common acrylic and legends with each window of 40mm(W) x 30mm(H) size. Individual windows and legends up to 8pts. are easily replaceable from front.

The details of legend inscription for each window are as follows:

FONT SIZE :
MAX. NO. OF LINES/ WINDOW
MAX. NO. OF CHARACTERS/ LINE
14pt.
3 lines
10ch.

  AUDIBLE ALARM

A potential free normally open contact which closes under fault condition and opens on Accept is provided to actuate on external audible device.

This enables customer to use one common audible alarm for more than one annunciator by wiring the alarm contacts in parallel to operate the alarm device. ICP make electronic hooter can be supplied as accessories.

  NOISE & TRANSIENT SIGNAL IMMUNITY

Front end of each module card is provided with a transient filter circuit which eliminates any unwanted spurious signals likely to be present or being induced on the input signal cables. The nature of the induced transient spikes is of very short duration though the amplitude is rather high. Such transients or 'Noise Signals' are generally non-repetitive and does not last for more than 3-5 m sec. Opto isolation is also provided for all incoming cables. The filter provides an adequate delay of 30-40 m Sec. which makes the system more reliable and responding to the genuine fault signals only. Delay of 15-20 m Sec. also can be provided on request.
